DenKnits 3.3 The Elephant in the Room

Finished Objects (FOs) - Darn Good Yarn designs are all knit and photographed!

Works in Progress (WIPs) - Oblivious Knits 'These are the Breaks' out of Reynolds Rapture
                                           - Poncho design for TreLiz out of her DK weight base in Tsunami

Spinning - I acquired some handcarders through the Instagram #getyouryarnwishesgranted so I put them to use...  Carding together some mystery merino, Shady Side Farm polypay wool and locks from Bricolage Studios.  I spun up the mystery merino that was carded to stripe into a navajo ply and got around 50yds (pre-soak) for my 0.8oz of fiber.  I also received some blanket squares from my anonymous wish granter.  I picked up some more polypay fiber from Shady Side Farm and was gifted a beautiful purple skein of yarn and a Holland Handmade Co knitting bag from Erin of Holland Handmade podcast.

(I linked all the above things in the previous post so please refer back there if you want more info)

Let's talk about... the Sockhead Hat.  I've made two, one with Cyborgs Craftroom sock yarn and one with Chasing Acorns sock yarn.  I discuss the way they wear over time.

And the elephant?  My ombre dyed hair!  I used a Splat kit from my local Walgreens.
